Colossians 3:12-15a

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.

Conner's 1st Day of Preschool

Conner had his very first day of school on Thursday and he did so good!!! I was really expecting some tears, maybe a bit of screaming and clinging, but he did none of that. He started playing with some play-dough, said goodbye and that was it. I was so proud of my big boy:)

He said he had a great day! He told me he played in the sand (and proved it when he took off his shoes inside the house and dumped out a sandbox worth of sand on the floor), blew bubbles, played with toys and ate all of his lunch.

2 out of 3 kids in school. It's bittersweet.

The kids look like turtles with their backpacks on:)

Mackenzie's 1st Day of Pre-K

Today was Mackenzie's big day...her first day of Pre-K! Makes me tear up thinking about it - I don't like my babies getting too big. It's happening way too fast for my liking!!

The morning started out great - she was excited to get dressed, put on her backpack, take pictures and show daddy her classroom. But as soon as we got to her classroom and said goodbye, the meltdown occurred. Big ol' crocodile tears and an iron grip on me. Breaks my heart to see her so upset.

At the end of the day though, she said she had a "wonderful" time at school! But she doesn't want to go back tomorrow....oops...too bad:)
