Colossians 3:12-15a

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.

Splash Fountains

oh yeah! get it girl! who needs toilet paper when you have fountains to clean your rear!? she did this the entire time...there are more pics, scroll down! it cracked me up!!

conner went in to "pinch" her buns but it looks like he got more than he bargained for!!

See! She's doing it again! Ummm...do I tell her to stop???

oh dear...............

They had fun and they were exhausted afterwards (yah for mommy:)

Surprise, Nana!!!

My mom (aka Nana) turned 60 last week. Of course we had to be there for this "momentous" occasion so we surprised her!! It was a great long weekend spent at the pool, lounging around and having extra hands around to help manage all the kiddos:) Mom had a wonderful birthday but the celebrations haven't ended....we'll continue in a couple of weeks with the whole family getting together in Breckenridge, CO!

never mind mom's face...the kids kissing Ally is what melts my heart!

Dad is right on mom's heels...he turns the big 6-0 in December. They look good for being SO old:) Hehehe!

What are you doing, mom?!?!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Father's Day

Ooops.....my posts aren't in order. Oh well.

This is the only picture I got of Jeremy and 2 out of 3 kids. Need to do a better job of getting good pics of him and the kiddos!

Mom and dad were in town. They brought back the 2 "big" kids from Nana/Papa Camp.

I love this picture!

4th of July

We had a nice laid back 4th of July...well, I say that but then again it was busy. But a fun busy hanging out with family and friends, eating BBQ and burgers - just the way a 4th should be celebrated!

1st stop - the Lakeway parade

Here's what Ally thought of the parade:

They toss out more candy from the floats in the parade than the kids get at Halloween and it's only 8:45am! Our kids were on a crazy sugar-induced emotional roller coaster that morning (ugh!).

2nd stop: the parade in Gigi and Papi's neighborhood along with swimming and eating at Gigi and Papi's

Their 1st snow cone. They loved it! Except for the "ice cream" headaches but they thought it was worth the pain.

And of course some of the red snow cone not only landed on Conner's shoe but also on his light colored khaki shorts and on the white in his shirt. Most of it came out in the wash, thankfully.

Last stop (no pics): grilling out and playing at a friends' house.

We all slept good that night:)

Kampen Family Milestones

(meant to post this about 2 weeks ago...oops)

2011-2012 was a whirlwind of a year for us with many incredible and surprising changes.

I'll start with the most important and of course cutest. Miss Ally Elizabeth is one month now!

And the other recent milestone we've hit - is that we've been in Austin for 1 year now!
