Colossians 3:12-15a

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.

Ft Worth Zoo

After the CrossFit competition, we headed to the Ft Worth Zoo. Even though Mackenzie wasn't able to take a nap yesterday, she did so well and she loved looking at all the animals! Animals and toddlers are a great combination!!

Ready to see the animals!

This gorilla scared Mackenzie!

Monkeys!

Were we here for Mackenzie...or for Jeremy??

She didn't know what to think of the elephants

We all loved being able to get this close to the white tiger!

CrossFit Competition

For the last year or so, Jeremy has been doing this type of workout called "CrossFit." To me, it's the most awful, gut renching style of working out you could do. So, I let him suffer through it (I don't participate). He loves it though and this weekend CrossFit had a competition in Ft Worth.

Needless to say, watching this workout in person is even more terrible than just hearing about it. I actually felt nauseous watching the poor, crazy people:) My crazy, competitive and studly (yes, studly) husband did SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was extremely proud of him this weekend!

Way to go Jeremy!

Before his 1st event: overhead thursters (or something) and rowing 500m (3x)

Warming up and really nerous

Before his 2nd event: 50 pull ups (to the chest) and 50 burpees (hell on earth)

Sunday we brought Mackenzie along with us. She loved playing in the foam pieces and trampoline inside the gym.

Last event: box jumps, kettle swings, and something else painful

Here are 2 videos of Jeremy's first event. Turn down the volume because I'm screaming pretty loud at times:)

Miss McCall Ellzey

Shelby and McCall came in town last week and were able to stop by to visit. It was so wonderful to meet baby McCall. She is darling! And of course, just like her mama, all dolled up and looking adorable. It's so easy to forget how small babies are...Mackenzie is huge compared to McCall:)

At first Mackenzie was not thrilled that I was holding another baby. But she eventually warmed up to her and even gave McCall a little kiss before she left. I think she's going to be a great big sister!

Milkshakes with Jack

Mackenzie and I went up to visit Jerica, Jack and Jacob last week. Jacob is absolutely precious, looks so much like his big brother. I totally meant to take pictures of their sweet new baby boy but was completely sidetracked by the cutest of the older 2 with their milkshakes and climbing around on the slide. Mackenzie and Jack love each other!! Jack calls Mackenzie "Kenzie" and Mackenzie calls Jack "Ack" (really loud).

I love this picture!

A new love....slides!

Jack singing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider"

I think Mackenzie stole his shake

4.27 Nathan Hugs

Mackenzie and Nathan met up at the mall last week for a playdate and lots of hugs!
