We took a family vacation with my parents, my sister and her husband to Breckenridge, CO, around the first of August. It was a memorable trip to say the least.....
A couple of days before we left Conner came down with the stomach bug - bad. Over the weekend, I caught what Conner had. Lovely. Ally was acting a little different too, so we're thinking she had a touch of it as well. Then the morning we were flying out we found out Mackenzie had a urinary track infection.
We sucked it up and decided to brave the trip. I will say the kids - all of them - did AWESOME traveling to and from Colorado!! So proud of them for that!
But then we got to Breckenridge. I still wasn't 100% from the stomach bug and then got altitude sickness and was dehydrated. I was worthless for 3/4 of the trip. Conner was still feeling awful and had some crazy meltdowns and really didn't want to leave the house.
We had some fun moments here and there and everyone started feeling better toward the very end of the trip (go figure!).
