Colossians 3:12-15a

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.

B.O.A.T.

There she be.

Kampens + Boat = a very happy family! We're a family of 6 now (yes, I'm including Maggie in that count).

We took the plunge today and bought a boat! Lake Travis and Lake Austin, here we come!!

The perfect lil' fish n' ski boat for us. It comes with a trolling motor (woo-hoo?) and some other stuff such as that. But all I care about is that it runs and we can get out on the water!!

The kids are going to HATE it. Haha! But they'll adjust when they're forced to wear a life jacket A LOT because that's how often we're going to be on the water:)

Summer Days

We've had some lazy summer days this week. Between all the repair men out here to fix our AC (we were without for 8 days! Love home warranty....grrrr) and other such random house things, we've been at home quite a bit. But! Yes, there's a but! I've joined a Bible study and I'm going to join MOPS so I'm praying for some friends soon!! Fall always seems to get life back in motion (right?)

I get stir crazy when we're at home too much but I think the kids (especially Conner) do better when we're home...and being active. So, I've had to get creative with new things to do and I am also eternally grateful for our precious neighbor, Olivia (age 9) for entertaining the kids for hours!! With Olivia and new arts/crafts we've made it through the week:)

Here's the best craft I found here and here. You have to try it!!! We spent a good 45 minutes outside painting the driveway and Conner. It's cheap and easy to wash off! Just make sure to use a lot of food coloring in order for the colors to show up. Enjoy!

Body coloring has begun!

He got it all over his face and some in his hair

Can you read his shirt? It says "Will make mess if left alone" - SO TRUE!!! I caught him eating dirt in our neighbors yard.

Always a princess....

This looks fun, huh? Painting his clothes!

Prettier Than A Princess

I'll admit it, I'm a proud Mama Bear of my little bear cubs. So, naturally, I think they're the most beautiful and adorable things on God's green earth! And today goes without exception....move over Disney Princesses because y'all ain't got nothing on my "Princess Ariel Mackenzie" (as she calls herself).

Yes, this is day #5 of wearing the Ariel dress. It now has a tear in it but I can't get her out of the dress in order to fix it. Lord, have mercy!

While Conner napped, we had princess dress up. I had to put on a dress and I didn't look nearly as spectacular as Kiki (especially considering I haven't showered, my hair is a mess and I had running shorts on under the dress:) We had a lovely time, darling. I painted her nails a bright shade of Barbie pink and I put a bit of makeup on my lil' Princess. (don't kill me, Jeremy! It's all in fun and pretend!!)

The results = my heart skipped a beat! Sorry there are so many pictures but I just couldn't delete any. I love her too much....yes, maybe too much!

Papi's Birthday

Yesterday was Papi's (Mike) birthday!

The boys waiting for food at their table

Check out Knox's awesome bedhead!

Conner thought it would be a good idea to climb up on the window ledge. Then he got stuck and couldn't get down. Boys!

Conner wasn't too crazy about the celebration. He was an unhappy Kampen last night

 Making a wish!

Somebody is up to something....little stinker!

Oops...I got caught

Me likes some cake!
