Colossians 3:12-15a

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.

It's Boatin' Time!

Tis the season to be on the lake!

We took Bucky (our boat) out yesterday for the first time on Lake Travis. Well, it was the first time for the kids and I. Jeremy's been fishing a few times already this year. It was so fun and the kids LOVED it!! Love making these memories with them!

protective big sister. she kept her arm around him the entire time!

kiki wanted to catch a "whopper" with daddy. didn't happen but they had fun trying!

my handsome and serious fisherman

little man wanting to help

conner and mackenzie take after me - we get red, red, red cheeks when we get hot. poor little guy, he was melting in his life jacket (and it's only April!)

daddy's "whopper" he caught earlier in the afternoon. the kids loved getting that close to a fish!

the brave one! i wouldn't even touch that slimy fish!

I love them!

You probably already know this, but I LOVE MY BABIES!

Here they are all snuggled up together in our bed. They're the best of friends and that melts my heart!!

I found Conner one morning all tucked into the pillows on our bed. He was so sweet and snuggly. And yes, he's wearing a princess (re-re) dress....Silvermist to be exact.

Even though Mackenzie and Conner are the cutest little friends, they still fight like crazy. One morning I had enough of the screaming and crying so they had to play in their rooms by themselves. I came upstairs to find Conner sound asleep on the floor on his room. And yes, again he's wearing a princess skirt. Don't judge.
 Sweet little boy!

Easter Time!

Our Easter weekend started off with an Easter Egg Hunt in Gigi and Papi's neighborhood on Saturday. It was awesome! They had a little petting zoo and by "little" I mean with little baby animals. So, stinkin' cute! Baby ducks, baby bunnies, a baby hedgehog (Jeremy's favorite:).  Perfect for pint sized hands!

Things started off great until Mackenzie spied the Easter Bunny (she has a fear of all things dressed up in costume). As long as she couldn't see the life-size bunny she was good. Look at her brave, protective daddy keeping her safe. He's so ferocious:)

There were tons and tons of eggs.....all with candy inside. That was a fun battle - felt like Halloween all over again with the sugar highs and lows!

This picture cracks me up - look like Mackenzie just laid her own egg!! Hahaha!

I think Conner's giving some other kid the "stink eye." Oh yeah, back up off his eggs, yo!

I spy with my little eye - the Easter Bunny!

Conner didn't have a problem with the poor soul sweating it out in the Easter Bunny costume.

Easter Sunday
After church on Sunday we headed to Gigi and Papi's for an Easter feast! (good thing, I'm pregnant because I for sure ate for 2!!)

Snuggled up with daddy watching Veggie Tales Easter Carol

Gigi and Papi set up their own Easter egg hunt for the munchkins. And bless their souls, there was no candy in these eggs! (thank you!!)

Conner is really into the egg hunts!

Oh boy!

Conner's basket got so full and heavy that Uncle "Map" (aka Matt) had to carry it for him.

Aaaa....our attempt at a "happy" family Easter picture. Well, 4 out of the 5 of us were happy - I'm assuming Ally was happy because she was so well fed:)
